Back-to-School Rustic Door Decor

Summer, you have been too fun and I'll miss you dearly... BUT thinking about classroom setups and the theme for a new school year brings a whole new level of excitement. I absolutely love the rustic and cactus theme and decided to make a printable door decoration kit for you all!

This door decor includes a welcome banner, signs for grades preschool-12th grade, 2 large cacti, 24 small cacti for student names, and letters to create the sign, "we stick together!" I can't wait to put this up on my door for our Meet the Teacher day to wow all my parents and students!

I listed out the steps you can follow to create your own rustic door decoration here:

1. Download the rustic door decor from my Teachers Pay Teachers shop for $3.

2. Find bulletin board paper of your choice for the background.

I used the wood paper roll from Walmart, but you can find bulletin board paper or backdrop paper at Michaels, JoAnns, and several other places. Just search "bulletin board paper" and find your favorite!

3. Print, cut, and label!

You can write your students' names on the little cacti for your door or bulletin board.

Directions are included on how to make 2 larger cacti for decoration.

I glued the letters on cardstock from Michaels for a colorful look!

This is the first thing people will see as they enter your classroom, so I hope this door decor kit can make it quick and easy for you to create a great, rustic feel! Best of luck in your classroom setup and back-to-school festivities. :)
